HOW LONG DO THE HAIR EXTENSIONS LAST?
Depending on how well you care for your hair extensions, you can expect the hair to last anywhere from 4 to 7 months. As you can imagine, the rougher you are on your hair extensions the sooner they will need to be replaced.
HOW LONG BEFORE I NEED TO HAVE THE HAIR EXTENSIONS TIGHTENED?
Depending on your hair growth, your hair extensions will need to be tightened every 6-8 weeks. This 2 hour “bump up” appointment will include removing the extensions and re-installing them on a new sewn-in base.

WHAT ARE THE BEST HAIR PRODUCTS FOR MY HAIR EXTENSIONS?
Using Mr. Smith’s sulfate free shampoo and conditioner is highly recommended to prolong your hair and hair extension color. Sound familiar? This is the shampoo you received in your luxury care package!
Shampoo gently between the rows, no need for vigorous scrubbing. A heat protectant such as EVO Head Mistress or MR. Smith Serum is also recommended to prevent any styling damage. EVO and Mr. Smith salon quality hair products are sold exclusively at Veil Of Grace Salon. Fancy that!
WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO STYLE MY HAIR EXTENSIONS?
After washing, rough blow-dry your hair until about 80% of it is completely dry. Do not stress the extensions with a round brush or comb, just use your hands. This applies to dry bar services as well! Communicate to any dry bar stylist to NOT round brush your hair from start to finish.
You can use a round brush and a small amount of tension to smooth your hair during the last few minutes of your blow-dry. To curl your extensions, run your hair through the curling iron once or twice to smooth the hair before placing curls. This will give your hair extensions a more polished look, closing the cuticle and prolonging the style’s hold.
